The 4th Annual Juneteenth Black Rodeo will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 13 at the
Henderson County Regional Fair Park Complex.
This year's rodeo, Sturdy and Durty on the Dirt, will feature relay races, bull riding, calf roping, ladies barrel racing and much more.
The half time, showtime throwdown features Cool Ricky Blues, Ms. Jody and other special guests.
The 2nd Annual Juneteenth Parade, Concert and Festival will take place on Friday, June 19 on the Courthouse Square. The parade begins at 6 p.m. and festivities downtown will include food, fun and entertainment provided by the Wesley Pruitt Band, Kadie Lynn, Cool Ricky Blues, Tres Jackson, Trinity Wennerstrom and other guests.
